Fermentacie Soy Workshop
DID YOU KNOW… that the soy sauce you use for your sushi and other Asian dishes is made using moulded grains? And that the same mould can be used to make miso, sake and all kinds of tasty things? Are you curious to try different fermented foods and learn how to use them in your cooking? Well in that case we have the perfect activity for you! On the 24th of November, the Fermentacie is hosting a two-part fermentation workshop for max 35 participants where we will teach you about the magical mould Koji and you will make your own shoyu (soy sauce, but with different legume substrates) that you can take home with you to ferment. Additionally, our Fermentacie members will prepare some ferments and make small tapas out of them for you to try. All of this for the small price of 4 euros! We will provide (almost) everything you need, just BYOJ (Bring your own jar of ±500 mL). The activity will start at 19:30 at B0314 in forum.
