What is a BSc thesis?

Your BSc thesis is a short research project which is worth 24 ECTS. It is a mandatory part of your Bachelor programme and it is (usually) done in the third year as a graduation project. For your thesis you can choose to do literature research, a data analysis or experimental research with one of the five chair groups (FCH, FPE, FPH, FQD, FHM). Before starting with the BSc thesis, students must have completed at least 102 ECTS of compulsory and restricted optional courses including all 60 ECTS of the first year.
